Apply to Kwantlen Admissions for the Public Relations Diploma Program
  • You must formally apply to Kwantlen; do not merely give an application addressed to the Coordinator of the program
  • There is an application fee: check amount on the web site: kwantlen.ca/apply-domestic.html
  • You will get a Kwantlen User I.D. and P.I.N. number
  • Without the payment of the application fee, you have not formally applied to Kwantlen and therefore will not be considered by the program
  • Applications are accepted on the basis of date of application once the completed applications submitted through Kwantlen Admissions are evaluated
  • The sooner you get your application fully completed, the better chance you have of being accepted
  • You will need to provide proof to Kwantlen Admissions of meeting the English requirement (see web site for more details about English requirement) kwantlen.ca/business/pr.html
  • Kwantlen Admissions is not responsible for checking with originating institutions, or with applicants, about whether transcripts have been sent
  • The applicant is responsible for confirming that any transcripts or official documents are sent by the originating institution and have been received by Kwantlen Admissions
  • There are only 22 seats in the program
  • On March 31, the Admissions department gathers up all the completed applications received by Kwantlen Admissions and gives them to the Coordinator of the PR Program, arranged by date of application
  • After that, applicants are placed on a waiting list, also based on date of application
  • Interim English marks are accepted for the purposes of inclusion in the grouping of accepted candidates
  • Other than the interim English mark, if your application is not complete, you will not be included on either the accepted list or the wait list

March
31
All applications that are completed to the satisfaction of the department and have met the English requirement are given to the Coordinator of the PR Diploma Program
  • The Coordinator of the PR Department contacts the students who have met the admissions criteria, based on the date of application
  • Applicants are invited to visit Kwantlen for an Orientation session
  • Applicants are accepted into the program
  • If the application is provisional upon final grades in English, then the acceptance will only be granted once the English requirement is met
